Homecoming at 17 months

I cannot believe how big and wild Nixon has became. He is a complete boy, and reminds me of a miniature Sean. He has to climb on everything and get into everything. I walked into the kitchen to find him not only getting into my drawers but sitting IN my drawer. Right after this picture Nixon picked up my ceramic casserole dish and dropped it on the tile shattering it. Yes little to say Nixon loves breaking and getting into everything

 

We went over to our friends house one night, and Nixon had so much fun with Marcus. They are so cute together. I love watching Nixon interact with his friends and play with them. He loves to hug everybody. His hugs sometimes linger and he sometime squeezes too hard so kids think he is being mean and they cry. poor Nixon just wanted a hug haha

Nix's new favorite toy is his life jacket! he found it in his closet and he keeps taking it out and wanting me to put it on him. He misses being out on the lake with his family. He doesnt want winter to come!!

Me and Sydney went to the Saudi fair with one of our new friends Hamad. We had fun learning about the culture and of course meeting new people. The Hygiene program really makes us go out of our comfort zone and meet new people we would probably have never been friends with. Sean laughs at me in this picture, which I laugh at myself, but the Saudi Arabians said we looked good haha

HOMECOMING! was kinda a let down poor ISU, but the one good thing is the Dental Hygiene float one first place again!!! two years in a row. Homecoming week is always a sentimental week for me. Last year was the first time I took Nixon out with my classmates. I looked back at how little he was and it made me realize how much he as grown over the last year. I wish I could stay home with him every day and watch him grow and learn, rather than going to school every day. It is getting so much harder now that he cries and says momma momma every time I leave, but when I get home I love hearing his feet running to the garage and to see his eyes light up when he sees me and gives me a big hug. He always walks me to the family room and show me ALL of his toys he has been playing with as if to say (look at all you will have to pick up when I go to bed, thats what you get for leaving me all day) haha

This was Nixon last year at homecoming. (in case you forgot) he is almost 6 months in this picture. my cute baby is so chubby!!

Nixon this year at homecoming he is so big compared to last year. He had so much fun watching all the people waving and yelling at us. I think he had more fun than I did.
